Writers Guidance
Welcome to my project Writers Guidance. My hope for this blog is to become an authority on online content creation and content marketing with an emphasis on the blogging platform. I absolutely love the thought of an online presence that allows a single person to create something that can be as popular as major media outlets. It is my goal to take you the reader with me through my journey of learning everything I can about content production and marketing. I will of course be focusing on free methods such as SEO, social media marketing, and writing my own content. My Story
My name is Kris Beus. I grew up and currently live in the small town of Evanston, Wyoming. My childhood was a little rocky, but I made it through. By the age of 18 I was already an alcoholic which lead down a dark road until I sobered up. The last day I drank or used drugs was 5/9/2009.
My Education
I went to school for psychology after high school and received my associate’s in psychology from Western Wyoming Community College in 2013. I decided to change my major and go into nursing. I graduated from Independence Univerity and received my associate’s of nursing in December 2020. I passed the Nclex and was a registered nurse from January 2021 to December 2022. Due to stress and uncontrollable shaking, I decided to end my Nursing career.
My Work Experience
From graduation of high school in 2002 I worked in the psychiatric field. The first job I had was at the company MRSI where I took care of developmentally disabled adults. I did this until 2017. I got a job as a CNA at the Wyoming State Hospital. I worked there until August 2022. This is when I decided to leave the healthcare field and began working at Wal Mart where I work today.
My Online Business Experience
The first time I started an online business was in 2009. I created the business with the goal of showing people how to make money online for free. I made a simple website and built backlinks like crazy. It was a simple affiliate website that linked to free make money online websites such as survey sites, get paid to write, and others.
I built this website on a free hosting platform with a free domain name. I reached the top position in Google for the term make money free and make money online as well as many related terms.
I was receiving several thousand visitors daily. I was making a couple of thousand dollars per month. This lasted about six months and then without notice, the host shut down my website. After loosing all the work I put in I gave up on online business and continued working a regular job.
In February 2023 I began writersguidance.com. It is my goal with this blog to teach people about online content creation and online marketing. The foundation of the blog will be educational content. When the blog begins building traffic I will begin monetization. As of right now the blog is indexed in Google and ranking for terms. We will see where the blog ends up.
